Jobs and Economic Development investment from NYC to North Carolina! Karl Mayer North America, a machinery manufacturer for the textile industry, is expanding their Greensboro-based North American headquarters, with the acquisition of their NYC-based competitor Stoll. Fourth Elm Construction is proud to serve as the construction manager for this project, working with the design team from CPL in the design phase, permitting and new construction.

A new brewery is under construction in downtown High Point, where food and entertainment options are quickly increasing. Paddled South Brewing Co. will be located at 602 N. Main St. in downtown High Point. Owners Dave Nissen and Patrick Watterson expect their leased 3,700-square-foot establishment to be ready in January. They envision a comfortable atmosphere with a variety of seating — inside and outside — with sports on TV and at least occasional live music. They said they decided against the industrial-type feel many breweries have chosen in recent years. They plan to focus on on-site sales, but said they could do some local distribution.
We are very excited to finally share our work on the new 75,000 SF Fresh Market Headquarters in downtown Greensboro, NC. This large, Class-A office upfit project is a full build-out of four floors of the Wells Fargo Tower, located at 300 N Greene St. The space will include offices, open work spaces, a full commercial kitchen for taste-testing, a photography studio, and conference rooms. The décor consists of extensive millwork with oak beams, wood ceilings, lots of carpet, wood doors and glass storefront. We have hit the ground running and we can’t wait to show you the final product this fall!
