Fourth Elm Construction just started renovating the former auto garage in an effort to complete Neighbors Bar & BBQ by the end of this summer! The new bar and restaurant is located in the north end of downtown Greensboro, NC, just behind Joymongers Brewing Co. The 2,302-square-foot project will have a casual feel with late-night dining options. New Triad Carolina Automotive Dealership

Fourth Elm Construction is excited build a new New Hyundai dealership to meet current brand standards: Global Dealership Space Identy 2.0 (GDSI 2.0)—a modern and dynamic concept to improve the customer experience. The design is inspired by nature and features an open showroom, floor-to-ceiling glass walls and modern furniture. Fourth Elm’s partnership for the Carolina Hyunda project consists of separating Hyundai from the existing Kia dealership showroom with a structural steel and pre-engineered metal building. Carolina Hyundai features a new conditioned service shop with two high-speed overhead doors, a showroom and offices. The exterior and portions of the interior ceiling are constructed with Hyundai’s “Sky Shaped” ACM, a curtain wall and decorative tree columns. This project is being executed on an occupied campus.

2021 Commercial Real Estate Award Finalist

The Triad Business Journal named the Fourth Elm Headquarters as the Runner Up in the “Best Renovation” category. The project was completed in March of 2020 after the abandoned and dilapidated 7,500 sf structure was revitalized into modern offices, conference rooms and a workshop. The 7,500-sqaure-foot space was built in 1941. Fourth Elm was able to preserve many of the original elements while bringing modern details into the space.

Holistic and Integrative Wellness Coming to The Triad

With help from CJMW Architecture, Fourth Elm Construction is transforming a 52,000-square-foot office building into a holistic wellness center in High Point, NC! Carolina Core Wellness will be a hub for integrative wellness businesses that can include healthy retail shops, counselors, acupuncturists and much more! The space will feature saunas, co-working spaces, a large area for banquets/seminars, a salt room and float tanks!

Kevin Masten, 40 Under 40 Finalist

Fourth Elm Construction’s very own, Kevin Masten is a finalist in the 2022 40 Under 40 awards by the Triad Business Journal. As a Partner at Fourth Elm, Masten sets budgets and profits for projects and manages six employees. He’s a licensed general contractor, LEED-accredited professional and recently received the CICTI Certified Health Care Management designation. Masten also serves on the board of directors of the Kernersville Family YMCA and the Kernersville Museum Foundation.

Fourth Elm Construction is building a mixed-use project for Peters Development with four floors dedicated to multi-family space and the first floor reserved for retail. The 32,000-square-foot building will have luxury 1 and 2 bedroom units with wood flooring, balconies and cable railing.

With years of success and growth, Fourth Elm Construction opens an office in Charlotte, NC to support current projects and keep the momentum going with future opportunities in the industrial, automotive, storage, medical, office and retail sectors. Located in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood at 1121 Hawthorne Lane, the new office is expected to house around 15 employees by the end of 2022.
